Southern Nevada’s Leadership in One Frame
When leadership and partnership align, an entire region moves forward.
Southern Nevada’s growth has always been powered by collaboration, by leaders who turn vision into action, and by organizations that work together to shape a stronger, more sustainable future.
At the Vegas Chamber’s Mayoral Business Power Luncheon, that spirit of unity was on full display. Hosted at The Orleans Hotel & Casino, the program featured dynamic discussions on the future of our region, guided by Vegas Chamber Chairwoman Janet Uthman and President & CEO Mary Beth Sewald.
Business and civic leaders heard insights from Las Vegas Mayor Shelley Berkley, North Las Vegas Mayor Pamela Goynes-Brown, and Henderson Mayor Michelle Romero, alongside updates from Ross Bowen of the Las Vegas Athletics. Together, they highlighted transformative projects, education initiatives, and infrastructure priorities shaping the next chapter of Southern Nevada.
But beyond the words, there was a powerful moment that captured the essence of collaboration: seven women, representing both city halls and regional economic organizations, standing together in one frame.
📸 I was honored to photograph this rare gathering of leaders:
-
Shelley Berkley – Mayor, City of Las Vegas
-
Pamela Goynes-Brown – Mayor, City of North Las Vegas
-
Michelle Romero – Mayor, City of Henderson & incoming Chair of Workforce Connections’ Local Elected Officials Consortium
-
Mary Beth Sewald – President & CEO, Vegas Chamber
-
Janet Uthman – Chairwoman, Vegas Chamber Board of Trustees
-
Elizabeth “Betsy” Fretwell – President & CEO, Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance (LVGEA)
-
Lauri Perdue – Chairwoman, LVGEA Board of Directors
This image represents more than titles. It embodies partnership across cities, industries, and institutions, proof that when leaders collaborate, they strengthen the entire region.
As Southern Nevada continues to evolve, these women remind us of the power of leadership rooted in connection, vision, and action.
