Today, I had the honor of photographing a truly historic moment for Southern Nevada: the official ribbon-cutting for the new shared offices of the Vegas Chamber and Workforce Connections at the Las Vegas Civic Center at Carolyn G. Goodman Plaza. This event marks a major milestone in how business, government, and workforce partners collaborate to support growth and opportunity across our region.

Leaders from across Southern Nevada gathered to celebrate the opening of this new space, a move designed to bring business advocacy and workforce development closer to the heart of civic activity. The energy was strong, the message was clear, and the sense of progress was unmistakable.

Why This Move Matters

The new shared offices symbolize a deeper alignment between the organizations that help businesses grow, hire, and thrive. By coming together at the Civic Center, the Vegas Chamber and Workforce Connections are positioning themselves to serve employers more efficiently while strengthening connections with local government.

This shared home also brings leadership, resources, and decision-makers into one central hub, a win for companies, entrepreneurs, and the greater community.

Key Leaders in Attendance

The celebration brought together city and regional leaders, including congressional representatives, mayors, councilmembers, executives from the Vegas Chamber, Workforce Connections board members, and long-time partners across both organizations. Their presence underscored the importance of this moment and the collective commitment to building a stronger future for Nevada.

Photographing the Moment

As a Las Vegas leadership and event photographer, capturing moments like these is one of my favorite parts of the work I do. From the ribbon-cutting itself to candid interactions, group portraits, and behind-the-scenes movement, the day was full of meaningful moments that reflect progress, collaboration, and forward momentum for our city.

A New Chapter for Southern Nevada

This ribbon-cutting marks the beginning of a new era of collaboration, innovation, and service for businesses across Southern Nevada. I’m grateful to witness and document the work our leaders are doing to build a better, more connected future for our community.
