Welcoming Danielle Casey, new CEO of LVGEA
Last night’s reception for Danielle Casey, CEcD, new President & CEO of LVGEA, felt like a full-circle moment of nearly a decade of learning, networking, and relationship-building through the Vegas Chamber and its partners.
I saw many of the leaders I’ve learned from across nearly 100 WC podcast episodes: listening, absorbing, and later photographing them. Again and again, their lessons return to the same themes: learning, relationships, trust, and partnership.
At the reception, those words came to life: warm conversations, shared stories, and the clear sense that relationship-building is always in progress.
The partnership of Vegas Chamber × Workforce Connections × LVGEA, surrounded by their trustees and board members, continues to shape the future of Southern Nevada by:
- Attracting new businesses to the region
- Supporting companies with workforce solutions
- Creating connections that strengthen both business and community
Moments like this remind me why I am passionate about documenting Nevada’s leadership: it’s about partnerships that move an entire community forward.
Congratulations to Danielle on this new role. I look forward to the impact of her leadership in shaping our region’s economic future.
The dream team of Mary Beth Sewald, Jaime Cruz, and Danielle Casey set the tone for the evening, alongside members of the LVGEA Executive Committee and board: Lauri Perdue, Brian Kleven, Ivan Ferraz, Steve Westerman, and Dr. Renee Coffman.
I am also grateful and honored to join the Vegas Chamber DC Fly-in this year, documenting history in the making with my camera in hand. Thank you to the Vegas Chamber leadership team for trusting me with this responsibility.
